The Canton Network, a public blockchain designed for institutional finance, has partnered with chainlink to integrate its oracle solutions and cross-chain interoperability protocol. This collaboration aims to streamline institutional adoption by providing access to Chainlink's battle-tested infrastructure, which currently secures over $100 billion in DeFi and has facilitated $25 trillion in transaction value.
As part of the deal, Chainlink Labs will join Canton as a Super Validator, participating in network consensus through a multi-component node structure. The partnership leverages Chainlink's Data Streams and SmartData products while tapping into Canton's regulatory-compliant architecture for traditional finance.
